Here are pictures from Fr. Brendan Boyce FSSP's ordination to the Sacred Priesthood last Saturday 3 Jul 2021 at St Benedict's Church, Newton, Auckland, New Zealand. The bishop is Bishop Emeritus Denis Browne of Hamilton, NZ. The planned bishop was to be the Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney, a fellow Kiwi, Richard Umbers, but due to the border being closed, Bishop Denis Browne came to the rescue, so to speak. It is a Pontifical Mass at the Throne which goes back maybe a millennium. The Mass being celebrated was The Mass of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
