longer want to live by your human will. 2. Tell Jesus you Desire

the gift of his Will. Then read the writings prayerfully and as
your knowledge grows so too the magnification and

permanency of the gift.

So why is the Divine Will gift given now.

It took the Church hundreds of years to simply declare Jesus
has two wills.

Eg. Pope Benedict XVI, in The Fathers Vol II p.

63 pointed out: “A theory had come into being

which held that there was only one will in Christ,
the divine will. To defend the oneness of

Christ’s person, people denied that he had his
own true and proper human will. Note: St

Maximus the confessor and Pope Martin I died in exile to

protect this teaching. Lateran Council said they were right it
cannot be said that Christ had a single will. Pope Benedict

explains the importance of this to us: “It is only in the “yes” that

man truly becomes himself; only in the great openness of the
”yes” in the unification if his will with the divine, that man

becomes immensely open, becomes divine.”

Jesus tried to communicate this but people were not ready cf

the dialogue of Jesus to Pharisees in John 10:34-35 “I said, you
are gods? So it uses the word ‘gods' of those people to whom

the word of God was addressed and scripture cannot be set

aside.”

We are entering that time of full revelation of the Divine Will

operating in the human. See again John 16:12-13 (NJB):

I still have many things to say to you but they would be too

much for you to bear now. However, when the Spirit of
truth comes he will lead you to the complete truth, since
