seamless garment of God’s creation, in the last speck of dust
on our planet.” N9.
How can we meet in the least speck of dust? It’s because when
surrendered to the Divine Will, the Divine Will animates us and
creation. We see the parallels, as mentioned before, with
iii
teachings of the Divine Will and many gospel themes for eg.
when Jesus refers to the unseen bond of God with us- eg.the
Trinity making their home in us etc.
In this sense the teaching of the Divine Will is also alluded
to by the next quote by Pope Francis- “What is needed is
the awareness of a universal communion: All of us are
“called into being by the one Father. All of us are linked
by unseen bonds and together form a kind of universal
family, a sublime communion which fills us with a sacred,
affectionate and humble respect.” N.89.
Last week we also spoke about the new level of spiritual
life available that is seen in the life and writings of modern
saints, this “New and Divine” Holiness. With this new gift above
all others developing more awareness, the general technical
theological term being used is the “Eternal Mode” or it is more
completely called “the continuous participation in God's eternal
iv
activity”.
The various names Jesus has revealed this “Eternal Mode” to
other modern saints (or ones on the way to canonisation) is, for
example: The Mystical Incarnation”- Venerable Conchita; “The
New In Divine Will dwelling”- St Elizabeth of the Trinity, “The
Assumption of Souls in love”- St Maximilian Kolbe, “The Divine
Substitution”- Blessed Dina Belanger, “The Divine Will” and
“Living Hosts”- St Padre Pio, St Faustina, St Mother Teresa,
“Living Tabernacles” –Venerable Vera Grita and “Living in the
Divine Will”- Luisa Piccarreta & St Hannibal di Francia. These
various teachings are no surprise from the Divine Will
