mentioned about the nine levels as a mirror of the nine choirs of

Angels (note the years refer to those that Luisa achieved at this
               level in her life)-

New Hierarchy in Heaven (Vol. 35, 8/9/1937): 1. Immediate
Participation in God’s Eternal Mode 2. Ad Extra Operatio 3. Ad

                                                                                               viii
Thoughts (1919) 8. Seal of Predesination 9. REAL LIFE!

In the writings Jesus explains to Luisa these levels can be
described as: 1- 3 Operating Will, 4-6 Conquering Will and 7-9

Triumphant Will. This seems to mirror the three classical
expressions of the Church as militant (on earth), suffering (in
purgatory) and Triumphant (in heaven). And in regard to the

DIVINE WILL being fully and permanently held by us as we
grow in holiness, Jesus described the levels as: 1-5 Intermittent
Acts and 6-9 Continuous Complete Acts. But most importantly
all of these Acts are inseparable from God- being in the Eternal

Mode- so be happy no matter what level you are in! By analogy,
I also like to think that the parent loves a child in kindergarten
as much as an older child in University as long as they are their

               child.

If this seems all a bit too much and not what being a “Catholic”
means, let’s turn to the Catechism of the Catholic Church

(CCC). It elaborates scripture, how Adam in Genesis 5:1-3 has
God’s image and likeness but after the Fall Adam lost this
likeness and his children, while having the image of God still,
                                                                                                     ix
did not have the likeness of God but likeness of fallen Adam.
[Note, put very simply image is the faculties of the soul:
Intellect, Memory and Will; likeness is how we use them.]

This is confirmed in the CCC, it puts it simply: “while we are
made in the image of God we lost the Divine likeness through
sin” N. 708. But we “retain the image of our creator” N. 2566.

               N. 2563 shows we can get back to this place through prayer:
