night when you read the Book of Heaven and the Hours of
the Passion and Blessed Virgin Mary in the DW and you

reach that profoundest of “breath” where you surrender and
exchange in a deeper way your human will so the DW can
become your breath, We read in Habakkuk 3: He makes me
leap like the deer, he guides me to the high places.” A

powerful passage in Vol 34 illustrates this.
This is that place where heart, blood, and the breath unite.
Jesus said to Luisa God’s plan for Man was that the Father

be the heartbeat. Jesus the Blood and the Holy Spirit be the
                   breath (Volume 28 18 April 1930.)

Luisa through the great cross she carried all her life, like no
other (I believed apart from Mary and Jesus) was able to get to

this place where her breath became the Holy Spirit that
animated her being, her will. See the passage about the Cross
below giving us the features of Jesus. We can walk in this

grace, as we read the Volumes where we gain the knowledge
and awareness of this. The Office of Readings, Monday Holy
Week, Second Reading From an ancient Easter homily by

Pseudo-Chrysostom titled The spiritual Passover shows how
crucial is awareness “As far as we are concerned, Christ’s
immolation on our behalf takes place when we become aware
of this grace and understand the life conferred on us by this

sacrifice” In 1 Cor 9:24-26 St Paul says how extremely
important it is not to run the race without purpose.

This Divine Will is the hidden Manna we read about in Rev 2
“…to those who prove victorious I will give the hidden manna
and a white stone – a stone with a new name written on it,
known only to the man who receives it.” The white stone

reminds me of Luisa who we know went ridge like a rock
each night and stylised pictures of her make her look like a
                   white stone- just a thought!

One of the classics of modern spiritual writings given to
religious in formation is Blessed Columba Marmion Christ,

the life of the soul. Pope Benedict XV said this book is the
